I'm back. We'll see how this works.

I've asked for new, fancy blog for Christmas. (I celebrate.) A blog that blinks and has little links and sells out. The whole shebang. I'm excited. I hope I get it. And those cute little black boots I saw on zappos.com.

A lot has happened since my last post. And a lot of posting has gone on at my other blog. (The fancy one I don't use.) Someday I'll consoliate my efforts, but here's the low down. (Where did I leave off? 2004. Talk about in media res.)

Since November 2004, I've been to Mexico twice, miscarried what would've been my second child, doubled my business, discovered I had cancer, got rid of my cancer, and very slightly launched two big projects.

It's hard to separate the ugly from the quite lovely. I used to have an easier time of that. They used to have their own sentences.

(Yuck and suck happened in 2005. However, the supreme suckage was mediated by glory and blam.)

Now, it's all mushed together. I 'm diagnosed with cancer and Finn starts doing imitations. I have major surgery, and I learn, again, how incredible my sister is. Pain and sadness break our hearts--so that they can mend and grow bigger and learn to swallow the world.

There's a reason these things are cliche.
